14th July 2010.
The following write up by Roger Bennett shows what a great time we had.
On Wednesday July 14th, 20 members spent an eagerly anticipated afternoon at Cornish Orchards near Duloe. What a lovely time we all had. We were greeted by the owner, Andy Atkinson who has built his business up over ten years or more. We spent two intoxicating hours being shown around the various hangar-like sheds to see how the cider and apple juice was processed, from the apple-pressing to the bottling.
We met several staff all of whom were cheery souls who clearly got on well with Ciderman. We got cheery too when we ended up in the shop, where we were generously treated to the tasting of delicious ciders and juices.
When we departed , it was with armfuls of bottles! Well done Andy and to all your loyal staff.
