On Tuesday 27th March, the library was officially opened at the "old" Discovery Centre.
The Mayor, Ron Overd duly cut the tape.

and made a short speech saying that he felt there was no better place for a library in Looe other than the Discovery Centre.
I noticed that the mural that had been painted on the wall half way up the stairs had been white washed over. Whether this is a good thing or not, is not my question. What I woud like is some information about that mural, that is no more. Has anyone got a photo of it? When was it painted and by whom?
If you have information please contact me through the web site. Thank you.
Wonderful. TOSH came forward with the photo. You can even see the pixie in the stawberries, that I understand is typical of the painter (see the Callington Mural Trail). Still need the name of the painter though. Any one help please?
