Welcome to the Looe Old Cornwall Society Web Page. This site endeavours to bring to you all our activities, both present and past. You will find our present monthly programme here, together with our planned outings in the summer of 2008***. Along with this, all our completed projects are shown. If you have any ideas for future projects then please let us know. We are presently evaluating a number of ideas but would welcome new input. I hope you find the content fascinating. I would appreciate any comments you may care to let me have. Just send an e-mail via the "

The Looe Old Cornwall Society, (LOCS) established in 1927, is a very active local society with around 75 members.
LOCS meets monthly during the autumn, winter and spring seasons. These
meetings
are held on the second Saturday of each month. The venue is the St Martin's Church Hall, on St Martins Road. Meetings start at 2.30 p.m. and begin with about 20 minutes of business, followed by a talk related to Cornish interest. Coffee and tea and biscuits are served at the end of the talk, when all members are able to chat and generally socialise.
During the summer LOCS organises outings or events of relevance to Cornwall. There are also regular Federation of Old Cornwall Society meetings to which all members are welcome. Commemoration of Cornish Heritage is also attended where appropriate, together with local annual events, such as Trelawney Day and Crying the Neck.
