On Saturday 26th April about 58 Cornish Bards came to Looe to take part in the Gorsedd Proclamation.  The ceremony was conducted in the Rose Garden in East Looe, when the Mayor, Ron Overd welcomed all and handed over the to Chief Bard Mrs Venessa Beeman who officially announced that the ceremony would take place at Looe on 6th September 2008..
